Youth Group (Grades 7-12) at Hope Church
At Hope We Believe:
The time to start equipping kids to follow Christ is NOW. In Middle School and High School we have the opportunity to teach students about the immediacy of the Bible, the reality of Jesus in their lives, the relevance of faith to them and to prepare them to go out into the world already walking in relationship with Jesus.
Small Groups:
Designed to foster authentic friendships between students. We spend time just hanging out, we pray for one another, memorize scripture and discuss things from the Bible.
High School guys meet Tuesdays. Contact: Ned Erickson 413-4918.
Middle School girls meet Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. Contact: Ginny Evans 529-9294

Large Group:
Once or twice a month the Youth Group, grades 7-12, will get together for an event or lunch after church or something like that. It's a great time for all of the students to spend time getting to know one another, laughing, and just hanging out.

Our Mission
Hope Presbyterian Church seeks to equip our youth to be disciples of Jesus Christ and to live with an understanding of His love, mercy, and grace for their lives.
Develop Authentic Relationships
Jesus said: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34)
Therefore, our youth will seek to follow the example of Christ, as we develop stronger and more authentic relationships with our friends, family, and all those around us.
Apply the Gospel to Every Dimension of Our Lives
Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." (John 6:28-29)
Therefore, our youth will seek to recognize the heart of the Gospel is in the free gift of grace, and in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In response to His grace, we will seek to glorify God in all that we do, allowing the truth of the gospel and our belief in Christ to renew every dimension of our lives.
Seek to Live Missionally
Jesus said: "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave” just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 22:26-28 )
Therefore, we pray for our youth to be disciples of Christ, living missionally: loving, serving, and transforming the world around us.
